The AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G (Special Edition) is our lightest standard lens. Designed for FX-format DSLRs, it is ideal for everyday photography and low-light shooting. With a knurled aluminium ring and leather-tone finish, the lens has been specifically crafted to offer a tone and texture to complement the Df.

This lens features a wide maximum aperture of f/1.8 for smooth bokeh and excellent performance at high shutter speeds. An aspherical lens element and high optical quality ensure superb clarity and contrast.

Switching between auto and manual focus modes is easy with the handy M/A and M Focus Mode Switch. Its Silent Wave Motor technology offers fast and quick focusing on your subjects when shooting videos.
